Born 1959 in South Wales I attended the University of Arts London (Central School) where a programme of study involving etching, engraving and other printmaking methods.

After a long period of teaching ended in redundancy (1998) I started to engrave gun parts and restore firearms largely for American customers. This has developed into engraving just about anything e.g. jewellery, guitars, belt buckles, knives .Any motif and style is considered while at present I have an interest in Celtic and Saxon/ Medieval influences.

In respect of firearms and jewellery a re cutting of old worn engraving is a service that I am familiar with, including problems of casehardened metal and how to remedy this through heat treatment.

New engraving projects or restoration work is always enthusiastically considered with every possibility of a reasonable outcome. I currently live and work in South Wales and have held an RFD for many years. In addition to engraving other gunsmith services are available e.g. blacking, browning, woodwork and general repairs.
